If you have plain yogurt & want to use it, add a tad of vanilla extract.
Do you want it FedEx'd to you on dry ice?

Southern Belle, that did the trick. yogurt and vanilla extract!!

we used maple syrup (1 tablespoon for 2 servings) instead of nutrasweet.

    thanks!

anyone want one? I had to ride the equivalent of 1 mile.

This is in today's paper in USA Weekend:

    Chocolate Banana Breakfast smoothie

2 scoops chocolate-flavored whey protein powder
    1 medium banana
    1 c ice
    1 c plain non-fat yogurt
    1 c. skim milk

    2 servings.

Personally I'd play with this without the ice. Maybe freeze a banana or use other frozen fruit. The secret of a great smoothie.

Mimi, you got your recovery potion "on board." You could do the five-hour 100 mile Spinerval "century" workout and never bonk!!!

BTW, I love those fleece-lined, suede cycling shoes you're wearing in the photo.

I think you should make milkshakes in that blender.

    Smoothie I could live on

    1 Cup orange juice
    1 banana, frozen is good
    1 small carton yogurt
big handful of frozen strawberries (drop in one at a time)
Drop in one ice cube at a time desired thickness. I like the added crushed ice.

Fresh pineapple instead of strawberries is great. Sometimes I throw in a handful of oatmeal or a tbs peanut butter.
