I've never thought of joining BJ before, but all this talk has me thinking I might. I think I'll head over there sometime today to check it out.

and why did my sick, twisted mind see BJ and think nasty thoughts?? Too many years of uptight Catholic schooling seem to always have my mind rebelling against properness and pure thoughts. Sorry.

Ok, I joined BJ and listed TE as the team.

How do I add my mtb? I listed the Roubaix and my *primary* bike but my first ride of the new year was actually on the mtb. Do I click on the new filter thingy and then pay for it after the 30 day trial?

i dont remember, but i think you click 'manage bikes' and add it there. then when you log a ride it lets you choose which bike.

what's REALLY funny is BJ is a "family oriented" site run by Christians.
yup... so at least THEIR minds aren't in the gutter with ours...

I've been moderated there by referring to hell as in riding your bike all the way down to hell..
and for using the word Jackass when referring to a donkey.

I'm either seriously innocent or your "current" slang pre-dates me by some years - I had to use Wikipedia to find the dirty definition of "BJ". (Can see how the "BJ for Dummies" title made you giggle though.. )

Oh, me too!! For saying "we're in the middle of moving hell" (i.e. the hell of moving into a new apartment). I was told that "hell" is "ok as a noun, but not as an expletive", or something like that.

    Which I found pretty funny.

But it's a great site, and for the effort they put into it they can moderate any way they like.

If you said "we're in the middle of moving hell" you DID use it as a noun!!!

Pssst... neither sick nor twisted... well, only as sick and twisted as me I think this is the only thread I have referred to BikeJournal as initials... I seriously wondered what this thread was asking when I first saw the title listed...

LOL... that's cause you are naturally innocent and not remotely sick or twisted

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".
