I didn't have any goals for 2007, so I'm very happy with my year! I bought my bike last February and I had no idea if I'd like cycling, if I'd be able to do long rides, etc. I made it to 2,722 miles and I did a 73 mile ride around Lake Tahoe. Not bad for a newbie! I would've made it to 3,000 miles but I haven't ridden since the end of November due to tendonitis

I didn't have any cycling goals for 2007. It all just kind of...happened.

I took the Road I course and instantly became a total bike nut, making friends I shouldn't have and alienating my family.
I rode my first (and only) century.
Some challenging hills on my commute are a breeze these days.
I learned a whole lot about bicycle mechanics.
I'm having the time of my life.

Goals for 2008? More of the same, only a little less of the inappropriate friends & the family strife!

Silver--neglect anything you want in order to ride, except for Mr. Silver. I hope you're feeling better. My sister & her bf who also live in Bloomington had that flu over christmas.
