In time, you will LOVE the left handed mouse! Seriously! I had to switch years ago for a wrist problem. When the wrist was better, I didn't go back to mousing with my right hand. It's so convenient to have the mouse in one hand & be able to take notes, eat chocolate/drink coffee with the right hand![]()
Good luck & heal well!
Have you tried acupunture? I had a terribly sore shoulder last year that was severely limiting my activities. I went to the acupunturist, and I haven't had a problem since. Later, my DH was in a fender bender and hurt his back. After a few weeks it was still bothering him so I convinced him to go to acutpuncture, and he was completly better within 2 days. I know this stuff can't "cure" problems, but it can sure help with pain management.
I have no advice to offer you, just positive mental energy and good vibes. I hope you get better soon.

OUCH! I'm still awaiting my MRI results, and am HOPING that it's just tendonitis. Heal quickly, and keep me posted on your progress.
Knott - if you fly to New Orleans, how about a side trip to Boston?

I think Knott wanted me to fly there. On the other hand, it's MARDI GRAS here, maybe I could entice her to come down. Parades every weekend, then with the big bash of parades Feb 1-5. And one needs to be able to wave their arms overhead to catch beads!
The shoulder - I think my range of motion is getting better. My therapy sessions last 1.5 - 2 hrs. Things aren't rushed, and there is much hashing over affairs of the day, the last football game, getting ready for Mardi Gras, etc. I notice an improvement the day after, then on the day of therapy it seems my shoulder is stiffer in the morning. I still have trouble pulling snug clothes off if the normal way to take them off is to pull over my head (like sports bras). Because my stomach is in rebellion I'm not taking any motrin or asprin, I can take tylenol, which I do periodically.
