Hey Yellow, cheer up, you could live in the Northeast.
The weather page for those of us in Massachusetts says rain or showers for the next 8 days. And its cold!!! It feels more like March here than May. This has been the coldest, wettest spring I can remember in a long time.
I just had to post because I know CorsairMac will come back and tell me how gorgeous it is where she is.

Yellow, you get enough sun yesterday? With my sunscreen applier and official nag out of state, I rode 105 miles in 3 days without any. I am officially fried. Just visited Jason at the shop (took him my bike for shipping) and he sold me some Kinesys 30 Kids' formula (no adult stuff for me).

V, I decided to forego REI as Oregon and no sales tax are in my very near future.

Hunny, no sales tax and the Pearl Izumi outlet store! Yeah baby!

So my sunny day? A little cool, occasionally windy, but sunny enough that I have a sunburn on the part in my hair where my helmet has a vent. Oh well, pigtails do prevent helmet hair. Had a great rolly polly ride through Sisters, whizzing along with the road not too far from the trail, feeling bad for all the poor people stuck in their cars, not having half as much fun as me. Okay, not as bad for the people driving home the the Pickett's Charge stage race.

Spring is having a hard time here, probably because we got winter off. Bah!

I am so bummed that the LLBean outlet store closed.

However, how's that little jump off the canal bank on the Sisters' loop? Wheeeee!

Yeah, that did break my heart, even when they were jerks about returning a shirt the pilled like crazy. Hello, it was layered under a fleece, with no zipper don't even blame my backpack LL Bean boy!

The whoops at the bottom of the Sisters loop? Oh, you mean the big boy. I actually rode the Suttle Tie Trail the other day. I love the whoop, but ever since my huge old hematoma incident, search the forum for hematoma, you'll find it, I'm leary. I love them, really I do, but I kind of love them too much and hurt muhself.

    LL Bean

I've never had difficulty returning things to Bean - even stuff that I've neglected to return for a year or more.

This was a true outlet store. I could get Smartwool gloves and fleece socks for about $3 a pair. They had all the pefectly good stuff that people return because of things such as not liking the color. And good prices on their boat totes. It wasn't like the "outlet" stores of today that are just a front for selling the brand.
