    outdoor bike storage?

    To disable ads, please log-in.

We need a place to store the bikes...they are taking over the house..
We've been looking at sheds that lock...but the ones that will fit in the space we have would ONLY hold bikes..OR the back seats of the Element and the window air conditioner 7x3x7

I'm thinking you all know something about outdoor bike storage that I don't know yet...suggestions? We don't have a garage or a basement. And I wan them to be safe from the elements and theft.

My husband built a bike shed that holds 6 bikes pretty comfortably (the MTB bars are a PITA). He put a roof on it with shingles and everything, and it has double locking doors.

I'll try to remember to take a picture when I am home.

I too am thinking vertical. Like in the LBS when they hang bikes from hooks on the ceiling from their front wheels.
Then the ac and the Element seats could maybe stay on the floor under the line of hanging bikes? Don't forget to turn one car seat upside down and nest it right on top of the other seat to save space.
