When I flew to Toronto to visit my family at end of this past Aug., that's when they got their birthday gift/combined with Christmas. I buy for over 15 people and they live at different addresses.

So now, living here in Vancouver I just buy for partner, who is getting a pile of cycling-related gifts since he is real long-term cyclist. I did alot of the shopping in U.S. when the U.S. dollar was weak against Canadian.

It was great fun shopping for him..and I do tend to buy throughout the year and hide gifts. Hopefully not forget where I hid the gifts.

We will be having our Christmas dinner and opening gifts with his adult daughter (28) on Dec. 21.

Then we are going snowshoeing at one the mountain ski resorts in British Columbia. later go on lower land to visit some wineries and sample...
