I would gladly trade snow for our dry weather! It is so brown here right now. We so need rain or snow i will take anything! And the pictures are wonderful! Wedon't have any pictures of snow from here but here is one I found on weather underground this morning!

I took a bunch of photos while snowshoeing through the woods this morning, but I don't have the time right now to put them up yet!
I'll try to do it soon.....

    Oooooohhh. These pictures are wonderful!!!!

    I MISS SNOW!!!!

I LOVE those pics of all that fluffy, dry snow. When we get it, if we get it, it is usually massively wet, heavy and almost immediately slushy, with thawing during the day turning it to ice with slush on top.

Thank you for the pictures...reminds me of how much I used to love living in snow country.

We just got 2 feet earlier this week and I'm so jazzed - Haven't been able to get off work to go snow shoeing or skiing yet - I guess Saturday will have to do.

I would send pictures, but I won't get my digital camera until after Christmas!

Can't wait, I'm always wanting to put pictures on the forum, but up until now, I have not been able to afford a camera!

Argh!!!! I'm starting to get bitter about you gals in Colorado, Northern California, upstate New York and the like. First, you taunt me all summer with descriptions of your mountain rides and now this. It's too cold and icky to ride in Indianapolis right now but not snowy enough for winter wonderland fun. Oh, and it's flat. That's it; I'm moving.

Seriously, though, those are some lovely pictures. Thanks for sharing!

Now you know why I left Cincinnati! I just got back from skiing Vail. Fun day in the snow.

We've had quite a bit of snow in the Northeast as well. DH and I hung up the bikes for awhile, and went out to play last weekend in the great North Woods (between Errol and Pittsburg, NH). Here's a link to my blog with photos (warning: SNOWMOBILE content!).

We snowshoed the night before this - great conditions for that right now!

SheFly, you're killing me. The shots on your blog are so purty.

We got some snow over the weekend. Not as much as they predicted, but I could have used some skis or snowshoes. Of coures, my bigger problem is that driving in this kind of weather in order to get somewhere to ski or shoe is a problem. Double argh!!!

It really is a pity that I don't live elsewhere. I would love to move and I suppose the biggest thing stopping me is my own inertia and the fact that I have the best job in the world; one that would be hard to replicate. It's hard to know how to measure these things. For now, I just have to up my travel budget I think.

Isn't it funny how pictures of snow and mountains can trigger an existential crisis?
