WIN is just regular detergent with Oxyclean premixed into it. They've done an excellent job of marketing it. You can get the exact same results with regular detergent and a scoop of Oxyclean or Biz at much less cost.
Here is my famous "stinky bike gear" recipe.
presoak in biz ( or other enzyme presoak) over night, then wash with any detergent and Oxyclean or other oxygen booster. Ta da, stink is gone.
but hey, use whatever makes you happy.

Biz doesn't have a great smell, it gets rid of the smell.

It is good to find out stuff like this! I'll definately try Irulan's suggestion.
But, I think that I'll probably still use WIN. I've really come to love the product and the job that it does. I like the fragrance, too. It smells really clean to me.
I do agree with the marketing frustration, but I don't use it because of any hype about it. The only part of their marketing that did affect me was their product placement. It was sitting on top of the rack of clothes that I was looking at (I think Under Armour long sleeve shirts) at D*ck's. I grabbed it rather than the shirt and it did the job that it said that it did.

Deciphering technical obfuscation is a form of amusement to me. I.E., what are they really saying with all that jargon. Most of it is BS most of the time.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I found a product called "Sport-Wash" at my local grocery store the other day. It works great - my gloves smell so good now!
