Woo hoo! You bit the bullet and paid your money- now it's in stone and you have a solid goal to work towards. I'm glad you did it. You've been thinking about it, so I'm glad to see you're one step further. You know you'll be more than prepared. Training can start after the first of the year.

I know that feeling of instant regret (had it right after I signed up for IMAZ)

It isn't regret so much as "omg, what did I do?". Oddly enough though I'm happier with those nervous type butterflies going on though when it gets closer to the event (esp day of) I start questioning my sanity.

I still want to go watch IMAZ

Same job, new-ish bid. Probably the holidays being mid-week had something to do with it. We bid again in Feb or March and while I'm keeping my fingers crossed, it wouldn't surprise me to lose this shift.

Good for you, you have a lot of time to get ready, I'm sure you will do great.

My first 1/2 is in 5.5 weeks For some reason, I still have a hard time even thinking of myself as a runner. Maybe after my 8.5 miler this weekend.

Way to go T. You'll do great. I think I'm sensing a way to repay you for some kind deeds...... to be continued.
