Lisa what do you wear in the shak? Mine is XL and I wouldn't want it smaller.

Elk....Don't know if this might be of interest to you, but there's a nice mid-weight Icebreaker sweater in black XL on Sierra Trading Post right now. The Sport Ltd. $72 today. (Price might go up tomorrow?) Inventory is marked as "almost gone," which usually means they have just one or two in stock.

I ordered one about a week ago and it arrived today. Much more substantial than a base layer, but not as heavy as the Ibex Long Trail sweater. Not sure how it would compare to the Shak.
Also, Backcountryoutlet.com has an Ibex Pico T in Graphite, XL. Like the Icebreaker Sport Ltd., it's a nice midweight sweater, but is more fitted than the Sport.
