Lucky dog. I'd take a day spa over white vinegar any day!

wash your gloves more frequently and they won't get stinky in the first place. seriously -- my gloves go in the laundry every week. and then they never stink.

another alternative to gloves on the trainer is to drape a dishtowel over the hoods/bar.

WIN is just regular detergent with Oxyclean premixed into it. They've done an excellent job of marketing it. You can get the exact same results with regular detergent and a scoop of Oxyclean or Biz at much less cost.

Here is my famous "stinky bike gear" recipe.

presoak in biz ( or other enzyme presoak) over night, then wash with any detergent and Oxyclean or other oxygen booster. Ta da, stink is gone.

but hey, use whatever makes you happy.

It's so great when you find stuff like that out. You know when they offer this magic thing and you find out it's only this that or the other. Marketing really makes me mad sometimes.

This is what I do, too. Even a couple times per week. And, I have had the same pair for about 3 years now!! They seem to last through the washes.

Irulan, which product smells like WIN? Oxyclean or Biz? I used to use Biz on baby clothes. I recall that it got out formula stains and smells, but don't recall it having a great smell.

Biz doesn't have a great smell, it gets rid of the smell.

I odn't know, I've never used WIN. After reading the website and marketing promo, I saw no reason to buy it. I ran the info past my technical fabrics/ laundry chemistry mentor and that was all. She is the one who gave me the recipe.
