    I can't tell you where to stay, but I am sooooooooo jealous. We're talking about going in '09, hopefully Levi will still be riding then. Have fun!

    They are all really close together. I'd probably go with San Jose, especially if you're going to be here for Stage 3, or maybe Oakland.

    Oakland would probably be the most reasonable, flight-wise. SFO wouldn't be too bad either, logistically. You'd be renting a car for sure. You could definitely see all 3 stages - you would want to stay up toward Santa Rosa/Sonoma for the second 2, though.

    I agree, Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland or San Francisco would all be convenient if you were renting a car. You could decide which one depending on whether you had a few extra days before or after the race. You could check out San Francisco or come up to Tahoe.
