You have two beautiful dogs. I think it would be hard to be the sitter for a collie - The one time we tried fostering a rescue collie (sable rough girl) - we kept her. Fostering is tricky-
The difference in sizing is something - one of my collies weighs 75 lbs (not overweight) and one weighs 55 (again - vet says fine for her size).

We were expected to get 6-10 inches of snow last night. We got 3 FEET and it's still coming down. I put on my snowshoes this morning and went out for a walk with the dogs. My 2 big guys just surfed through the snow. The little girl had a bit harder time. She'd bound over a snow patch and disappear completely. I'd spot her again when her head poked up, covered in snow. The first time she did it she looked so surprised! This is her first experience with snow. She loved it. I'll try to post some more pictures when it stops snowing.
