Congratulations! Thanks for sharing that - I wouldn't have known there was such a conference. Hope it brings in good attendance.

Very cool Lorri. I look forward to hearing about it in January after your return.
Colorado - I'm jealous. My home state. I don't get back there enough.

Congrats Lorri! There is no doubt you are more than qualified to hang with the PhD crew! You are such an inspiration in women's cycling.
I really did enjoy the two day clinic that you taught. I hear the little voices in my head on almost every ride.

Too funny!
Have fun and impress the heck out of them in Colorado! - Nicole
thanks again, everyone!
Nicole, you cracked me up. it's amazing how powerful hearing someone's voice in your head can be -- that's why I try to give lots of verbal reinforcement to my athletes. heck, sometimes I even talk to myself! but sometimes I worry that women will have nightmares of my voice "yelling" at them.
Hey after years of playing competative sports I miss someone yelling constructively at me. It gets me going!
Its sad but sometimes I think I crave it and seek it out!
Ahhh our strange addictions!
I am just now learning the art of self motivation...Its not an easy thing. I work much better with a team!
Good luck in Denver! -N
