Got away lightly this time....lost phone for awhile.
Several friends have trees in their houses...

Back in '95 a wind storm knocked out power for 5 days...no heat no lights...we bought a gas "wood" stove to mitigate that problem..

Typical winter weather here... I never used to fear the wind...but I do NOW!
