Good to see you, too, trigirlpink! I had a good race, much better than Sterling, although, that huge run-up was kind of insane. I was always ready to just stop going up that thing, never mind RUN up it. How did your race go?

Not to shabby! I was prepared to be LAPPED with the field we were in coupled with the 45 min race time and I was at the back part of the course right before the icky run up "wall" hehe.. but It was a break through race for me in the sense that I was able to do 2 things

Feel for the first race this season that I was in control of my bike and I didn't feel tetative in the woods with all roots and rocks and I was able to stick to a wheel for an entire lap and then was able to pass her with a lap left to go.

I have to laugh... I was the FIRST woman to cross the finish line after 1,2,3 finished right in front of me so I knew I didn't have another lap. I was happy not to have to do the "wall" run up again!! Yikes!
