I rode 12 miles at 11:30 this morning. Rode on the river bottom in St. Charles County, Missouri, partly on the Lewis and Clark ACA route. Saw a kestrel, a cooper hawk and an owl (maybe barred). Temperature 38F and windy, but very good to be out (I avoided listening to the Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV). Tonight I pack up my bike and fly home tomorrow.

The hubby and I did the racing community's annual Turkey Day ride for NW Harvest. It's not super organized, basically we all know where and when to meet and someone passes a water bottle, $5 suggested donation. It was cold when we left the house - our outdoor themometer said 32! (that's 0 for you celcius users), but its been a reallly nice clear, sunny day otherwise.

What an awesome day!!!
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and got out to ride.
DivingBiker and Kalidurga and I had a blast at Rosaryville (well, that is...until someone ran into a tree! But she had the good sense to do so within sight of the parking lot, so if it had been worse, I think Kalidurga and I could have dragged her out!!
).
