I'm going to be building up a TT bike next month, and I'm trying to decide on a saddle. For my road bike, I ride a Brooks (on a lightweight carbon frame... much to the chagrin of my weight-weenie teammates!)
However, this just won't do for a good TT position, where most of my weight will be shifted off of my seatbones and on to the nose end of the saddle. I've been eying the TT/tri saddles with wide, padded (usually gel) noses, and was wondering what you guys have found to be most bearable for short, intense efforts (I won't be in that position for more than an hour... usually 10-20 minutes at the most for a stage race TT).
