FYI, some of us ended up placing multiple orders since the shopping carts couldn't hold much, so ask your staff to group orders by account to not waste money on multiple shipments to the same address. Also, can you tell us if you will let us exchange items at the sale price if we order the wrong size. Otherwise some of us are ordering items in multiple sizes to return what doesn't fit. Lastly, now that you've joined TE, PLEASE STICK AROUND. We get lots of querries on bike fit, and even Terry bikes, so it would be great to have you on board and participating.
    Ditto!
I had to place to seperate orders. But I gotta say I am very happy about this sale. I would like tobe included on the special sale for next year (if there is one) and that way i can be prepared and just call in.

The Terry site is really overloaded now....now I can't even get one item in my cart to "stick" when I go to check out. Wish I'd done this earlier today before everyone got home from work (I was home sick today). I've at least made a list of all the items I want to order on the phone, but no guarantee that they will still be in stock when I call tomorrow (I know they'll be too swamped tonight).

Emily, I called my order in during lunch, and I got through almost immediately. I would give it a shot. The woman who answered was very patient, and didn't seem stressed at all. Feel better, and try it!

Isn't it nice to know that there are people who still care about the customer and offer personal service? Georgena, you are a breath of fresh air.

I got one of the emails announcing the sale. You could too, you just need to sign up to receive their newsletters. Every once in awhile they have unadvertised specials and sales that only go to those on the newsletter email list.

I got on to the website over my lunch time, and ordered 1/2 dozen items - was in and out in about 10 minutes. Got lucky with the timing. Now to just wait for my package!!!

    HI Georgena,

I have tried to order online from your site before, but the bugginess defeated me. Did manage this time though. I'm looking to my sweater and bike cube.

BTW, we do talk about actual cycling, not just what we buy for it, so come back and chat.

Nevermind. It's probably best that I didn't know about the sale, as I just got some items from TE and I'm set w/winter gear.

It is not too late. She said that because of the overload you could call in the next few days and still get the sale price.

A few people posted about our return policy on the sale. Anything, anytime, any reason. We'll refund the price you paid for the item. Shipping is on you, unless we sent something in error -- then we'll take care of that, too.

    Thanks again!

Yeh, TE and Terry are the best aren't they? You get emails from REAL people, yes Susan and Georgena are real people, and I would say that I buy >90% of my cycling products (including bikes- I have a 2005 titanium Isis, 2003 steel s/s coupled Isis, and 2 retired 2001 steel classics) from them. Anybody ever get an email from Giuseppie Nashbar? I hope Susan isn't feeling like she lost a lot of business over this one. Yeh, we used Susan's wonderful size charts to figure out what to order, but in all honesty, I ordered either mostly stuff Susan doesn't stock, like terry specific tires and parts, and the few clothing items were pieces that I already decided were too expensive to ever buy on TE (and are perfect layering pieces for the jacket that I did buy on TE earlier this year).

So please, Georgena, really join our community and participate in our discussions of WOMEN'S CYCLING. Susan has created something really special here.

This is from the email I received from Terry on Tuesday, so I doubt it was meant to be a private sale (emphasis added):

Me too, I just rounded out my winter gear with more merino items from Ibex. I'm all set at this point.
But I did get one thing- some Volcano gloves from Terry during the sale, have heard they were good for frigid cold.
