A Gorgeous Sunset

I spent the first hour and ten minutes of my ride today seething about work. I even forgot to downshift to my small ring on a couple of the hills to protect my knee. OOPS! Anyway... I crested one of the last hills and I was staring directly into the most beautiful sunset with Mt Diablo off to one side and the clouds forming beautiful pink, violet and orange streaks. It was just stunning.

I do have to remember to bring arm warmers. The closed road is completely in the shade in the late afternoon. I was a bit chilly!

Wish I could have been there to see it. I bet it was awesome. It is those little things in life that make me step back and just appreciate everything I have.
