I get a kick out of watching the seasons change. The fields I ride by I see the short sprouts of spring, the full grown plants of summer, the harvest and then the same field covered under a layer of snow.

I enjoy hearing the geese honk as they pass overhead, hearing the distinctive sound of a mourning dove taking off, and seeing the quail scurry off the side of the road.

I also like NOT hearing my chain. If I can hear my chain as I pedal, I know it is time to dig out the rags and clean the drivetrain.
