    Love my purple armwarmers!

Hey TE, thanks for carrying Sheila Moon armwarmers in purple!

While I'd prefer to be riding in sleeveless jerseys, this very cool and wet spring seems to be going on forever, and I'm happy to have armwarmers in a color that makes me smile. (And in a color that matches my bike too!)

    Denise,

I've got a pink pair that I haven't worn yet (still debating exchanging for the purple!) but I was wondering how warm these armwarmers are! I bought mine to wear in the summer as sun protection (that I can take off in breaks, keep off until the sun is high, take off if it gets cloudy...) but they seem very thick. I've got a pair of DeSoto Arm Coolers, but they're white, and sometimes a girl need color!

I don't know if I'd be happy wearing these as sun protection. I think they'd be kind of warm. But then again my preference in hot weather is sleeveless jerseys and lots of sunscreen (SPF30 or above!). It was in the 50s today and I was very comfortable in these warmers.
