Late afternoon is my weak time of the day. It's amazing how much I can stuff in my face if I come home hungry and dinner is an hour or 2 away! Choices, choices, choices.......

Weighed in this morning- 175.5 Yippie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Down 1.4 pounds from Monday.

Going to Boston tonight for a basketball game, so this will be a good test of willpower. (Go Celtics!)

My cat eats whipped cream. She's really skinny. She's really old too, but she kept me awake half the night last night. We're putting in wood floors and she can't freely roam when the glue is drying. She was not a happy cat about the doors being closed.

No workout for me this AM. I'd like to just go back to bed.

I braved the scale this morning.

174.6 -- Yay! The scale has not budged off that 176 in two month. So, thanks ladies for getting me motivated! This is a real break-through.

Yesterday was a fantastic day for me on a whole lot of accounts.

I went to the Gynocologist Monday for the annual pap smear and while she was doing the breast exam, she said "has this lump always been there?"

I had an ultrasound and found out yesterday that everything is fine.
    Whew.

I managed to get through Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday without stress eating thanks to the weight loss challenge. Can't look to good to start a challenge and then blow it, right? All of your posts were encouraging and helped a big bunch.

When I got the good news yesterday, I instantly thought - chocolate, let's you and I celebrate together!

I purchased a box of Weight Watchers chocolate fudgesicles that are covered in crushed cookies and had 2 - It was only four points, yummy, and guilt free!! I went in to get a Symphony bar (the huge one) and left with these instead!

If I can get through this without stress eating, you all can get through your cravings, too.

    Go get em!

This is where I get discouraged. I've been really strict for 3 days. No sweets, healthy eating, exercised every day. The scales say 154.5. Same as when I started. I think they are stuck.

Keep at Sandra! Rome wasn't built in a day. And neither were our thighs, bellies, butts, boobs, etc. Stick with it and change will come.

    Okay - I guess I'll tell you...

I'm down two pounds from Monday. Of course Monday I weighed in heavy. So it's probably really only one.

Ok, I have a confession to make.

Yesterday I had a good breakfast but it was later than ususal. When lunch came around, I worked right through it because I wasn't hungry yet (I didn't even noticed I'd done it). At 1:25, a coworker asked about a meeting we had at 1:30 and I realized that I hadn't eaten yet. I grabbed my HUGE bag of raw veggies (yay, me!) and ate it during the meeting. Unfortunately, that meeting was only 30 minutes because of a big all-hands meeting that lasted the rest of the afternoon. By the time I got home at 6, I was ravenous. I'd also forgotten to take out something for dinner, so we went out for Mexican.

Can you guess what happened? Starving me + big bowl of chips and kick-butt salsa = too much food! I had a healthy dinner entree (no drippy cheese or cream sauce or anything)....but I ate too many chips and was STUFFED. Blech.

Overall, my calories were fine yesterday, but that is NOT the way to do it. I'm back on track today, but I'm bloated and puffy feeling. Ick.

Confession over. I'm going to work extra hard to not let this huge meal set me up for over-eating all weekend. I WILL post a loss on Monday. I WILL.

I haven't been posting but I've been checking in on this thread once or twice a day and it is really helping me stay motivated!!! I've had a couple of very good days after a week of slipping, not badly, but enough to stall the loss.

    thanks guys!!!

Still keeping on. I've been very very active this week. Have friends coming over for the weekend, and since I haven't had anyone over in a long while, there was A LOT of cleaning to do. I'll be cleaning up until they arrive, probably. (having folks over is a great motivator--I've even rearranged furniture and everything.) We're going to make hypertufa planters for my front porch all day tomorrow.

I haven't been on the scale since about Tuesday--but I have been getting up at 4-4:30 every morning so I forget to weigh. (Body clock just waking me up, so I get up.)

Because of all the work I've been doing, I'm uber-sore. Today at fitness boot camp we did all weight/strength training and we were SUPPOSED to leave sore. Well, I was sore when I got there, so mission accomplished!

I've been keeping up with my food intake, so I expect all this work to pay off. I'm going to weigh on Monday.

I've been at a conference all week and this is the first time I'm seeing this. I don't know if I can lose 10 pounds (I don't think that'd bring me to a healthy weight on my frame), but I definitely want more accountability for what I eat and how much I exercise. In January of 2004 I was fresh out of college working my first real job and weighing an unhealthy 160lbs on my 5'-1" body. I joined WW online and lost 30lbs just by dieting. I've kept that weight off and this summer, thanks to my new-found love of cycling, I've managed to lose another 5 and probably be the most "fit" I've ever been. But I have a long way to go. I'd love to lose that stubborn pouch on my stomach, to tone my arms up, and lose some more of the rear I haven't weighed myself in a week, but it was 123.6 then and I doubt it's changed much. Don't have home internet, so the earliest I can report in is next Tuesday. I'm having a housewarming on Sunday, so I'll have to be good and exercise lots during this 3-day weekend! It feels good to be motivated again!

Bleh...I came down with the cold DH had a week ago. Maybe it was a coworker. Moot point. I feel like cr@p. I can't remember the last time I had a cold. Right now the back of my throat is sore and my head is getting congested. Didn't think a sweaty hour on the trainer in the chilly garage sounded like a good thing at 4:30 this morning, so I slept in a bit. Taking Emergen-C, drinking lots of Lemon Zinger with honey.
Fridays are quiet at work and there aren't a lot of folks here, so I may bail out early if I can tie up some loose ends. Hoping I can keep from eating bad comfort food. There's a box of See's on the counter. No one has opened it yet. I hope no one will.

    Sigh...
