Our dearly beloved and much missed Raptus ("manic burst of energy", in Norwegian), staking her claim to the newspaper as I go for more coffee.

Yeah, Yellow, that cartoon is the BEST. I've been sending and posting it far and wide. It is the TRUTH. All cat owners know this.

Our cat Nina, as part of this morning thing, likes to lick our noses, purring optimistically. If you try to hide your nose under the pillow or blanket, she will reach in and pull it out. That wakes you up FAST. She is also a face patter.
"My predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." I got it over the weekend and almost fell out of my chair the first time I saw it. I sent it on its way to a few friends, some had already seen it. Bad kitty-evil kitty LOL. Jenn
