WOOHOO! I met Robbie McEwan this weekend! I cheered on Craig Walton and Emma Snowsill to Victory! I watched Brad Bevan - Oldest Man in the Pro field and a previous champion of Noosa (in 1988) finish in the top ten! I ate chocolates of felicity Abrahms. (They were yummy) And Got to watch Lorian Graham, Robbie McEwan and Steve Moneghetti race in various events! DAMN that was a great weekend! (too bad an Astana boy won the criterium! He was from Bundaberg but really man, Astana??? ASTANA???)

BF's cycling club was represented in the men's crit as well. ^_^

Here's the photos as they SLOWLY UPLOAD

    Hey there LS!
What an excellent event to attend... Robbie was so awesome in the Tour - I would love to be able to watch him... and all the others at that elite level...

(And, on a slight sidetrack, how goes the water restrictions - any rain in sight to ease it all? I only just heard how really bad it was a week or so back)

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".

CC: It was a great weekend. A Great Event and I'll definatley be racing it next year.

RR: No water restrictions in Noosa. The place flooded out in August. Here in Brissie we've been threatened with Level 6 water restrictions for almost a year. We're on Level 5 currently - 4min showers. Watering plants at night only on certain allocated days with buckets or watercans only - No hoses, sprinklers or excessive water users

I heard Queensland was using recycled water, and no watering any garden outside at all

Glad you are not in quite that situation.

Good photos, btw... and I anticipate next years photos showing you as a rider
