    Wow, thanks Natasha-
I just asked the people last week at Ibex if they had any med or large redpepper full or halfzip shaks lying around on the shelf, and they wrote back and said no, they only have the 4 colors now listed for sale. Perhaps I should ask them one more time with a reference to one having been recently returned?

I'm somewhat peeved that the MEN'S shaks come in 6 fabulous colors almost all of which I love. But the women's only come in 4 colors, 3 of which are dark and somber. I doubt the men's would fit me in small, since I suspect the neck and maybe the shoulders would be too big and loose.

    Red Shak at www.steepplanet.com

Lisa......I think you can find the hooded red pepper Shak at www.steepplanet.com. It looks like they have it in stock, S-M-L, at $140, plus free shipping.

Thanks Kathy, yes I did find a few red pepper HOODED shaks around (even on TE!) but I was looking for the half-zip and full-zip styles in the red. I'll probably get the red hooded one anyway.

Ah, sorry,Lisa.....I missed the key fact that you wanted the hoodless variety!

Thanks Kathi- I probably will get the hoodie one anyway, but I knew there were several of those still available here and there online- it's the red half-zip and full-zip non-hooded ones that are now impossible to find.
Natasha- I did email Ibex about your returned one- got no reply. I think they are tired of me asking about other colors.

P.S. added: I did wind up ordering the red hoodie shak from TE. Who knows, maybe I'll find another red shak top to go with it eventually. At least I'll have the one that I can wear over other stuff. It'll be cozy in red.

    Shak

I got the Shak full-zip in thistle heather. The color is beautiful, but not very bright. I have a plum one from last year also. They are amongst my favorite pieces of clothing.
Good luck with your hunt for red pepper.

I just love the shak fabric and fit. I have the black jersey. I did get the red pepper HOODIE shak from TE(!). That will be nice as an outer layer.
I have looked high and low over the internet- and their just are no redpepper shak half or full zips anywhere. I saw some Ice Blue ones (not me).

I'd like a change from the black shak jersey when it's in the laundry. I agree the thistle heather is a nice color but every time I buy a piece of clothing in a lavender or purpley hue I wind up not liking the color after I wear it a few times. This has happened several times and I just won't buy any more purple-hued clothes....they just don't click with me.

The brown is "comforting" and "safe", but not very interesting and I can't say I love how brown tops look with black pants. I wear mostly black on the bottom, either leggings or skirt or wool pants. Do you gals like brown tops over black pants?

I guess I may just need to think about going with the "warm green" as an alternate to my black shak.
    Any opinions?
