FS: Randonneurs of China Jersey - women's XL

    To disable ads, please log-in.

One drop dead gorgeous jersey for $55 (inc. postage in US, a tad extra for them there foreigners). I ordered an extra because I wasn't sure about the sizing. I have a women's XL available - 3/4 zip, no elastic in the hem. An XL jersey from www.champ-sys.com jersey fits similarly to a size L Voler Women's club cut.

If you don't know the story, go over to Bike Journal and look up Randonneurs of China. SloJoeRecumbo lives in China much of the year and started a randonneurs club.

In case you would like to know the translation for the characters, according to SloJoe:

side: "Never Give Up"...and the character on the back is "Perseverance"

And he will be gathering a new order including socks and arm warmers next month, just in case you want a different size or coordinating accessories.

These jerseys are beautiful. I was lucky enough to be in on the order and have one in my collection.

One of a kind, indeed. The colors really pop out at you and the design on the sleeves, alone, make these jerseys extra special.

Bat, see my 2nd post about SloJoe doing another order next month. You'll need to go over to www.bikejournal.com for more info.

Yeah, the Green-Eyed Monster is just a trifle too big for the XL. Just a trifle, mind you.

I generally wear an XL. Can you tell me the measurement across the bust?

The size chart is on the web site. Scroll down the left side to find it.

I saw a guy wearing one on Cycle Oregon. Very cool jersey! Wish it was my size...

I assume this is a women's jersey? The website says that XL=40 chest. I'm slightly larger than that. Any idea if it would be too tight? It's a really cool jersey!

MD, I have no idea. I do not have any tape measures at this time. A Voler women's club in medium fits me fairly snugly. The large is too big, yet the size chart for a L is 36-38.

The champ-sys website says their large is also 36-38 and it fits me perfectly.

I'd say the Champ Sys jersey just runs one size small.

And, yes, it is a women's. See the highlighting I have added to the original post.

    MDHS -

For what it's worth, SadieKate is moving right now so her tape measures might be packed up in a box somewhere, or already in Oregon.
