It's a shame that the article does not stress that it is perfectly legal to cross the bridge (and often preferable if you ask the pedestrians!) on the road deck.
The cyclist who recieved this abuse is a common poster over at the Cascade board. He hasn't said much about it, but he did say the road rager was worried enough about what he did that he did not try to leave the scene, even though it took over an hour for the police to arrive and take a report. The road rager did not recieve a ticket thoughapparently it will be a decision of the DA to press charges or not - usually the driver gets off without any penalty.
