Drink lots - counteracts the side-fx of analgesics
Concentrate on calcium (or your teefs will fall out. The body drags out calcium from everywhere)
Relax and keep the head very still for a few more days

I'm with everyone else on this one- especially lph, who mentioned massive salads... if you're not moving much, then your insides will not be "moving" as much
Don't forget the fiber along with the protein & calcium!

Andrea, that's a really good comment. Most people on stronger analgesics suffer the side effect of constipation, especially if codeine is involved. And that's without the added disadvantage of little mobility.

So yeah, keep pushing the fibre and the fluids.

That is what *I* was hinting at in my inimitable, delicate and lady-like wording.

Wish I knew genteel code words for "stool softener", but if you're not mobile & on the pain meds, sometimes even the fiber can use a little help.

Hope you're able to get outdoors even a little soon!
