You are too cool mountainchick. Kit has been broken hearted over this decision for quite a while. It's hard to give up a good companion like that, even though you know you have to. Kit still has a sparkle in her eye for Miz Cakes so it's nice to see her going to someone who will love her the same way. Thank you for being that kind of person.

    Congrats that was FAST!!!

I looked at it wistfully but if it's too small for Kit, I think it's too small for me at 5'11".

    Anyway, yay

I'm 5'2", I think it'll be a good fit, my old Fisher Cake was around the same size.

I'll definitely have to send pictures of our misadventures over here so she doesn't miss MC too much

We'll be going here first: http://www.takamineyama.com/english%20page.htm

Maybe I should tell hubby I'm buying a bike...

He's in the military right? If he doesn't understand, just remind him that this costs as much as a toilet seat.

Don't anyone jump me for that one. I love our troops!!! (It's the prez I can't stand.)

Oh no...it's not that he won't understand. This will now be his opportunity to upgrade his mountain bike...he's been begging me for AGES and the excuse was that I got to get a mountain bike before he could upgrade his.
*sigh* I got around that one for about 6 months

The good news is the snows come late around here so I might be able to make it up to the lower mountains before winter sets in. Yay!
