Thanks, Elk. My girls will enjoy actually going for a jog. I'm with you, a walk in the neighborhood just isn't enough. I used to throw the frisbee for Kali in the side yard, but lately there have been too many strays just appear out of nowhere. One day a horse comes trotting right by our yard and the riders were teens. They didn't even have a saddle and their dogs were running loose beside them and one came charging at us in our yard! Luckily Kali is responsive to commands, but she does have her limits when it comes to protecting her yard.

If you want the K9 Cruiser, I have one you could have for the cost of postage.
You'd need to get a harness...if you want to work with a harness.(It doesn't come with one, but you can get a really nice handmade one on ebay for under 30.00.) The Biker dog comes with a harness.

Check it out on the web and let me know.

Here's a review with pictures of the K9C and the Springer.

Thanks for posting this. I'd been planning to post asking if anybody rode with their dog(s). There's a bike trail not far from here but even better there's a park right down the street from my apartment that would be great to start Chloe off in (before it snows). I saw the Springer but have been leaning toward the Walkydog once I saw that. I hadn't heard of bikerdog before but maybe I'll e-mail them for more info.

Nice page elk and thanks for the info. I used to take my SO service dog for a run on a razor scooter. A 60lb high strung Border Collie mix. It was a wild ride. He is old and retired now with hip problems...I've got my own dog now, an Aussie mix. She can play ball all day but a half hour after we've been walking, she starts trailing behind. My SO tried taking her out with the wheelchair and she just sits down . It would be cool if she had an interest in running, but oh well.
