Aw thanks gang, you're so sweet
LeeBob and I had a fabulous weekend. We were down in Solvang from Friday thru Sunday, and then we camped overnight Sunday at Pfeiffer State Park in Big Sur.
Geeze, it was windy in Solvang!! I was so glad I wasn't riding the Solvang Autumn Double Century as I had originally planned for Saturday. When we went out for Danish pancakes on Sunday morning I overheard stories from riders of how brutal it was out there. gahhh.
So instead of slogging out 200 miles in nasty winds, Lee and I slept late, rode out to nearby Los Olivos and checked out the street fair there - where Lee bought me a beautiful garnet & pearl necklace from one of the vendors
- and rode back to Solvang, for a whopping grand total of, er, 15 miles.
All in all, a grand weekend out !
