I got a dose of reality about my tiny apartment and my burgeoning bicycle population. I need to get one of those wall racks that stacks up 2 bikes before I get another bike.
But I'm keeping my eyes open for some local mixtes, and I'm gonna ask my LBS guys to keep their eyes out, too. (they sell a lot of used bikes www.recycledcycles.com )

I use one of those frame adapters. Works great. I got mine at Nashbar a couple of years ago, but I notice that lots of places have them now. I need to get more of them. Very handy.

Ok, of the Takara and the Raleigh (both are within easy drive for me to pick them up) which would be the better one for me to get to make a single speed? I know nothing about Takara. (but at least it has all the parts) Originally Posted by dex
