Watch it for a good minute or so, and repeat to yourself , "the shoulder is going to the right/left, shoulder to the right/left..." And see if after awhile it doesn't start to go to the left. You can almost see it "reboot"...
That's your brain at work, though -- she's really not changing direction! My DH and I watched her on my computer simultaneously, and he saw her going clockwise, and I saw her going counterclockwise, so she is not actually changing direction -- your brain is just changing how you view her! I don't know how to explain it, but I did take a Sensation and Perception class in Psych grad school many years ago, and this was the kind of stuff we learned about -- fascinating!
