I'm blown away once again. Unbelievable. I, too, am curious about the horse's tails.

They were talking about a sand sculpture contest on South Padre Island, on the Weather Channel today. So I thought of you early this morning, wondering if you were there!

    Guess not.

My friends put that contest on. And a lot of my friends compete at it. We did a long time ago and were ripped off. The local people judged it and picked the local pastor's sculpture of the last supper over ours. He only carved one side too and....oh don't get me started! But I think it is a bit cleaned up now and better judged.
What do you want to know about the tails? There is nothing inside them. it took days of tender loving care for them to stay up as well as fans running on them to dry them out. The sand there is more stable when it is dry. IT is not always like that with all sand. But this stuff gets really hard when it is dry. But it is super weak when it is wet. Most people think it is the other way around. But there are no tricks here just sand water and love.

Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.
