People, people, people! NEVER post pictures of puppies on here! I want one now!

My dogs are 11 and 14 years old, so I know now is not the time for a puppy, and when it is time for a new dog I know that I should adopt an older dog because the puppies will always find a home, but geez, that puppy is so darn sweet and the two of them look so cute together!

Not to hijack, but I got a new pup, too. Not near as cute as a round-bellied Lab (whose cuteness is KILLING me), at 6 months old at least I don't have to potty train her. She did chew the bungee latch off my new Keen's, though! argh! at myself for leaving them in her reach!

Here are two pictures Lucy posing for her close up, and then Lucy & Zeke, my other dog. They're numbers 1 and 2 in a series. Variations on a theme. Terrier mixes. I think Lucy is part Golden Retriever. Who knows about Zeke?

She is super cute! All I can think of is the dog from Annie! They totally compliment each other!

Yeah that potty training thing is a nice bonus. Wally just tried to go inside, scooped him up and put him outside. Let him wander around for 5 minutes, came back in and tried to pee inside again! Lovely stuff. So back outside for a little while...

I was spared the potty training too... I don't know how you have the patience! Then again, I'm a piano teacher, so maybe I do have enough patience...

Lucy is out-of-this-world cute! I love dogs like that. She looks really fun to play with! There's a dog in the dog park that looks just like the "Tramp" from the Disney movie. He's my fave...

I googled the dog from Annie, and it is a Golden in some pics and some kind of strange Lhasa Apso looking thing in others. So, maybe my gut about Lucy being Golden (plus Airedale, some have said) is right on. That would make her a Golden Aire!

not so. puppies don't ALWAYS find a home....especially older puppies. and i hate to say it, but now is an excellent time for a pup. she will perk up the older guys like you wouldn't believe, and they will help her become a dog....

    Nope, it ain't gonna work.

I already know that when my two guys aren't around any more, I'll adopt elderly or sick dogs, or two who need to be kept together. I want the hard-to-place dogs that spend too much time in kennels or foster homes awaiting a permanent home.

And since my third dog died a year ago, two is my limit. Yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

    Those terriers are adorable, Tuckerville.
