    Between the raindrops....

Well, I actually rode today! Just 14 miles but it was fun to get acquainted with a road bike again (It's been about 12 years since I've been on one) and test everything out.

But when it's raining hard, like Saturday for instance, I usually do work on my house, paint, or swim. Sometimes I run if it's not too bad out. In the wintertime I knit a lot. Like you gals, I have a lot of hobbies.

And that is one cool bracelet!!!!

    wow
we were supposed to get rain last night and today, but we didn't. we really need it....everything is very drive.

This is the first weekend in awhile that we could get stuff done. good progress on a house project, a bit of yard work, I printed cards to sell, the laundry was done before we went grocery shopping and the banana bread will be out of the oven in minutes.

Sorry all you healthy folks have to put up with rain! It will pass, though, right? And think of all those cool bracelets and knitted things you're getting done! way to go!

    Namaste,
    ~T~

If it ever rains in Albuquerque - I guess I"ll have to figure out something to do. Thanks for all the suggestion tho - I'll keep them in a "rainy day" box in case I ever need them!

Yup Spazz - you can smack me again!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

You be careful, Corsair, and don't tempt the gods! AbbyQ has been known to have flashfloods that carry away Beetles.

Yellow? You out there? Bubba says it is clear in Davis and the last of the thunder bumpers are going though RC (right over my little head). I actually have sun shining in my window. Hang in there. Blue skies are coming!

It's been pouring on and off all day in Sacramento and Elk Grove. I now have a moat around my house from the trench the pool guys started last Thursday.... The news said El Dorado Hills was having a thunder storm warning. They showed some green/yellow/red stuff on Doppler going east from Sac through Folsom. It was pretty wet and noisy from the thunder here in Sac. But the good news is it's supposed to get up to 80 on Saturday....good for our team ride....
    Ride your ride.

Did you get thunder today? We have had thunder and lightening all day today in Rancho. Very odd for here. Some of it was was too close for comfort. I decided that I didn't need to go out for lunch. I'm glad I don't have your moat but yesterday I was lying on the living room floor doing some stretches when I noticed some very unfriendly yellow spots on the ceiling.
