Adorable puppy and looks like you found a good breeder. Their website is impressive and the training options they have there are very cool. Congrats!

Zen - great rescue site too. I have a big soft spot for rescue dogs and currently volunteer at a local rescue.

Yes that is a pacifier in his mouth. I asked him to "fetch it up" and he picked it up the right way.
Thanks for the rescue link Zen. I totally believe and support the local rescues here but we wanted a hunting dog. Unfortunately with labs there has been so much backyard breeding that you just don't know what you are getting...hips/eyes/elbows etc. My breeder takes in rescues and helps them find "pet" homes all the time. If it was just a pet and I didn't have small children I would be all about the rescues. I donate and help out in anyway I can because yes there are too many unwanted animals out there.
It makes me cringe when someone says they want to breed their dog because its so nice and cute. UGH!!!

ACK... such cuteness! He looks like the sweetest baby ever. I wish you many happy years!

And good for you for using an ethical breeder. It's the next best thing to rescue and in your situation sounds like the right choice.

Nice rescue link, Zen. Didn't come across them when I was searching for a lab to adopt last year. I wound up with my lovable mutt, Hudson, though, and wouldn't trade him for the world...

Oh, so so so cute. We have a black (Sammy) and yellow (Pika) too. We call them Ebony and Ivory (and usually break into song ala McCartney and Wonder). They are so cute when they are pups but HELL ON FOUR PAWS!! Our yellow came from a breeder as she is a hunting dog (that obviously also gets to spend a lot of time on the sofa). The black is a rescue. We love them both so very much!

Too cute for words--esp. the two boys snoozing together. Those are some good-sized puppy paws on Wally!

I was rescued by the large chocolate fellow in my avatar--Cocoa--my only son!

Awwww, so cute! We brought our chocolate lab puppy home on October 20th (6 years ago!). Every year at this time when I hear the geese returning for winter I think of her as a tiny puppy, she loved watching the geese overhead and playing in the piles of leaves. Anyway, enjoy the puppiness, they grow so fast!
