Lisa, I plan to keep using the old wheels for most of my training. The plan is that the heavier wheels will make me stronger so that for races when I drop down to these lighter weight wheels, I'll be faster. That's the plan but I know that I'll have trouble taking these off.

The conti supersonic tires are racing tires. They will not hold up for lots of miles.

Lisa, your shoes look perfect for your bike!

Emily! That jacket is beautiful!!!! Ohhhhhh....Silver!!! BUT.....$225

I do have silver bar tape that I've not yet installed. I'll wait til this tape gets a little older.

SR500, I like the Race X Lites too, but I wanted an aero rim since much of my mileage is alone and for triathlon racing. Are you the one whose husband asked me about Share the Road?

Silver, your bike and your wheels and your shoes are just beautiful! You've earned them, so I'm glad you've got them!

Wow! Those wheels are gorgeous. I just bought the same bike a couple weeks ago. I'm still adjusting to a road bike after riding a heavy mountain bike. I think if I had lighter wheels, I'd feel like I was going to float off the earth! Congrats!

Your bike looks awesome Silver. I also love your shoes.

I want to change my bike tape on my Ruby to silver. That is what came on my Dolce and I really liked it, but they use white tape on the Ruby. Where did you get the silver bar tape. Specialized no longer carries it.

    Thanks

    Thanks everyone!!

the silver bar tape is cinelli C Ribbon the original. I think the color is Carbon Silver the code on the box says "NMCARBS" My LBS special ordered it for me.

Hey, you could save a bundle if you just use duct tape!
