Thumbs up Update on Mr. SilverFather

Many of you were involved in feedback on some tough decisions we had to confront a few months ago with new Do Not Resuscitate orders for my dad.

Well, the doctors took him off most medications and his health has improved immensely! He will turn 80 on Monday!

10 years ago, he shared with us that because of chronic health issues (that persist to this day), he never thought he would live to see me graduate from high school...

Next year, his GRANDdaughter will graduate from high school...and he may even live to see that!

...Man makes his plans, and God laughs...

That's just blessed, Mr. Silver. I'm so happy to hear his health has improved so much. I hope it continues for a long time.

Wonderful news! Make the most of all the time you have with him while he is still in good health. Take him out for ice cream, drop by for coffee, etc!

    Indeed.

That's excellent. I have to wonder how many seniors are messed up, not from their own bad health, but from their medications.
