I talked to a friend that rides about riding with me since my hubby is out for a while after the dislocated shoulder. I picked her up this morning and loaded her bike into my truck. She rides a Giant Revive! That thing weighs about pounds, so it was no easy feat considering we had to lift it over the side since my bike was on a rack on the back.
Amazingly she was fast and we did OK with me on the road bike and her on her Revive. She's in great shape and rode faster than normal and I rode a little slower than normal.
It was great to get back out there.

Always good to have a riding partner, and good to hear you could both compromis and fit well together...
She'll be very string having always riden on such a heavy bike... now, if speed is someh\thing she desires, it shouldn't take much to convince her she needs another bike (please note, ANOTHER bike - NOT trade-in her existing bike) and she will be zipping along more quickly like you can!
Glad you had a great day

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".
