    Really rode today!! w/o a cast :)

    Today was great... They cut my cast of this am and this afternoon i rode on a bike that actually moves and was outside! Not for as long as i'd have liked but i can live with that and then this evening i got to swim part of practice. man 3 weeks and i am way out of shape. anyways i was excited!!

    The first while i think i was just so excited to be riding i dindt notice but it was not so much pain but kinda unsteady and alot of pressure but it was short and sweet, guess ill have to work back to where i was...

    I sure am proud of your parents! It would be so easy for a parent to say "NO MORE BIKING" after all this. It's clear that they respect you for who you are. Don't forget to thank them!

    So glad you are healing so quickly! The advantage of youth! Keep us posted on the possible epilepsy diagnosis. Are you on any meds yet, or are they still trying to understand what exactly the problem is?

    hey luv2ride - feeling your joy. I got my cast of 2weeks ago & was soooo happy just to do that first ride. Your fitness will jump back up - I'm doing the same miles i was doing before accident, 2 weeks later. Good luck.
