Hmmm...to me, she looks like Angela Rogers, my first girlfriend.
Of course, this is before she lost her front teeth in 1st grade.

Isn't it funny how we can sometimes see the resemblence to people in animals that seem to have personality???

yep, that's gotta be a cat in the bottom righthand corner, and I'll bet the coffee I'm drinking that it's saying something snarky about the dog![]()

Ah yes. The cat would be miss Gina who likes to supervise the dogs and swat at them as they pass by. She's a lovely shelter kitty who was on death row because the vet said she was preggers. Funny thing is she never did have those kittens and has never come into heat. Needless to say I didn't use the same vet the shelter did! Scary when a vet can't tell the difference between a pregnant cat and a spayed one!!!I need to get some good pics of her.
Here's my favorite Tiger the Dane pic. It shows off his personality perfectly.

How in the world do you spend time on those rescue sites without either becoming seriously depressed or adopting hundreds of dogs? I already have four--three big ones and a medium-sized one. We have the space, so it works. My favorite of the four is the Doberman cross--she's smart, very obedient, and beautfully athletic (the best frisbee dog ever!). My husband is partial to border collies. Bonnie is amazing indoors--she just lies somewhere out of the way and watches our every move. But she wouldn't make it in an apartment. Her good behavior is dependent on her getting enough exercise (mostly herding the other dogs). My kids' favorite is the lab cross.
I've always wanted greyhounds, but we can't have dogs indoors anymore (son's allergies). If I'm ever looking again, I'll probably go for another Doberman or doberman cross--or maybe a pointer. Unless I get stuck with more border collies, of course.
I can't afford the vet bills that come with ownership so for now I'm a foster parent. If I should find myself in a more favorable financial situation I'll consider a permanent resident but for now I'm glad to provide a temporary alternative to a stressful kennel until someone adoptsMinnie Yipperton.
