Here are some pics taken earlier this week. There is myself, my son (in the black jacket) and his friend, James, not forgetting of course, Max

Max cheats. He holds the rope instead of the ball

He's enjoying himself. Loves to play

I just love shepards. My very first dog when i was a kid was a shepard named skyla. She was my bud!
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

It's been getting quite chilly sometimes here. Already digging out my winter woollies LOL.

Max is a fantastic dog He's good fun and very affectionate. Still can't understand his previous owners dumping such a loveable and faithful dog

Still, their loss is our gain (and Max's).

We're just setting off to visit my friend 300 miles away so will catch up with you all Sunday evening. Max is coming too

What great pictures! Max is a beautiful dog. I love his coat coloring. He appears to be very happy with your family.

We just got home 30 mins ago. We all had a lovely time. Max really enjoyed himself. We went for long walks and let him off the lead for the first time. He was brilliant and stayed close to us. At the park we threw his ball as far as we could and he would go chasing after it and bring it back to us. There is a large duck pond and he managed to lose his ball in it The rope floated so we could see where it was. It was just too far out to reach so I ended up having to wade in and get it It was a lovely day and warm for this time of the year so my feet dried off quickly on the grass.

We like it so much where my friend and her husband live that we are seriously considering moving up there too sometime next year. People are really friendly up there and everyone talks to you. Down here in the South West hardly anyone talks to anyone else. Not only that but I could visit my brother and my daughter's family in Aberdeen a lot easier as it is only 250 miles from where my friend lives (Durham). Just a 3-4 hour drive up the motorway (freeway).

We can't do anything until next year but once my son's kidney transplant is out of the way and he doesn't have to go to the hospital 3 times a week, then we will look at moving.
