The timing is just perfect, I need a new sports bra, and one that wicks sweat. Cotton in this climate just doesn't work - "soaking wet" has a whole new meaning.

Well, women can gets breasts as gigantic as they want, if their chest skin will stretch enough to accept the implants. I just looked at some nude pictures of "glamour model" Jordan (that's glamour?) and her breasts are obviously huge implants. Not natural looking at all, just sort of weird Barbie melons. Sad.
Hey, but I doubt if Jordon does a lot of jogging anyway!

Hmmm... Guess I'm lucky. I'm an A-cup (but look more like the researcher (?) in the red top in that picture than the girl in the sports bra... but maybe I look smaller in a sports bra, not sure). I always wear a good supportive sports bra when I exercise due to vague fears of what might happen when I get older, but honestly, I think I'd be reasonably comfortable even running without a bra... I just don't move around that much (I don't THINK anyway!).

However, I really feel for women who move around more. I often see women running who have really big, robustly bouncing breasts and it DOES look painful, and I've certainly talked to women who have pain when running. I'm glad there's someone out there studying this and trying to find better solutions.

I love this woman! Running with DDs is no fun, let alone anything bigger and I have never found something that gets rid of the bounce without being so restricting you feel like someone's sitting on your chest. Interestingly, all of the better bras for larger chests are designed by everyone BUT the major sports companies. I'm glad to hear someone's taking it seriously.

Hummm. So, what's a good "encapsulation bra?" I've always relied on two layers of extreme compression (so breast tissue + fat stick out under my armpits like crazy) - not pretty, but it keeps my A/B cup breasts from their customary EXTREME bouncing. I've never found anything that encapsulates the breasts that gives even the slightest amount of support, actually.

Encapsulation bras are the sort that don't give you uni-boob, the "girls" are lifted, separated, and enclosed.

I'm a saggy 34C, and can run jump and frolick in my CW-X pain-free.

I agree with Knotted. The CW-X is a great bra. Comfort and support in one bra. I wear it, with a compression bra on top and have NO discomfort running with 32E's. I've even jogged in front of a mirror, to see how much bounce there is. Very little. And no discomfort. Believe me, when you pay close to $5 grand for boobs, you get pretty protective of them! Finding the right bra for exercise is imperative.
