First ride I found out they had a wicked pokey nylon (like fishing line) thread which only emerged from the chamois when I was a few miles from home. Sometimes you get a great deal, sometimes you get what you pay for !

Have you tried ebay? If you're patient (and lucky), you can score some good deals, especially in larger sizes.
