The best way to track your cycles is to:

1) Mark on the calender the first day of your cycle
2) Mark it again and again.
3) You can check your Cervical Mucus
4) You can do your Basil Body Temp Every morning when you wake up
5) Use ovulation strips that you pee on when you think you might be ovulating. You can buy them at the dollar store for a dollar. They are right next to the pregnancy tests.
6) join a site like www.fertilityfriend.com and even if all you do is put in the first day of your period after about 3 months it will tell you the aproximate day you ovulate. Your fertile days and your "safe" days.

I have asked many women about the "ferning" method which is using a microscope to see if you are ovulating and most of them hate it. This is comign from women who are Trying to Concieve so its important to them to know when they are ovulating.

I hope this helps you!
