Thanks for the kind responses. I apologize for my rant. Not tonight, but I may give bikely a go one of these days . . .

Some puters just don't like those sites. I generally can't use any of them on my laptop. Don't know why.....
Yikes - I logged into routeslip, clicked on my routes - only to find someone else's routes in Tennessee, and I've never even been in TN! Some of my routes are available by looking at the Deleware routes, but most are missing. Worse, I wanted to edit some routes I made in Michigan, and not only can I not find them, Michigan does not exist anymore on Routeslip. There were probably hundreds of routes all over the state last month. THen I tried to get to the discussion board, and now it gets really weird - clicking on the discussion board takes you to a login page for Google Groups?
Despite its flaws, I really liked routeslip cause you could print out a nice cue sheet with mileage and get the elevation as well. I have not been able to figure out how to do this on Bikely....
Oh this is sooooo frustrating.
Hmmm. Wonder if you are getting my TN routes?
On bikely, from your page with the map, look on the top right hand side and you'll see the word "Show". Click it and you'll get a drop-down and the last choice is "Cue Sheet".
Oh now Routeslip is really weird - I tried logging in again, and click on "my routes" and now it's giving me routes in both Indiana, and Arizona. Two more states I've never even been to. And Michigan doesn't seem to exist anymore. Sigh.
At Bikely - I have "show" at top left corner of the screen, but the only options there to show are "Whole Route" and "Elevation". I don't get an option to show the cue sheet.... Possibly cause I didn't make one? How do you make a cue using Bikely? I know I could read all the help screens but I'm a firm believer that if a program is any good, it doesn't NEED to have all those help screens.![]()
I had to ask the same question the first time I used this program. As you create a route point you can add your turns, comments, etc into the 'Notes' box. Also, you can go back later, select a point, and add your info. After you save the route, there should be an option to show cue sheet. You may have to reload the page in order to get the option.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...
