thanks! and, um, I chose the pictures that made me look smaller than the other pictures. There was one that I swear made me look like my stomach was hanging over my knees. Almost. I'm open and honest on here but wasn't about to show THAT one

LOL, after I got home from Shasta, I was DYING to have a pic to post of me at the top, with just the glacier behind me in the picture. But, the pic was SO hideous, I just could not cope with posting it here.

LOL...I suspect we all edit just a little what we post! Now if only I could get really good at photoshop!!

Boy, we were all busy this past weekend, weren't we?

Teigyr, I know everyone's said this, but you really do look great! A lot better than I would . And you were fortunate to have Mr. teigyr there to urge you on, too!

I think us PNWers should be proud of ourselves, hurrah!

Congratulations! I'm impressed you got out there and did it despite discovering the swim was going to be harder than you thought. I understand completely about the pics. DH took a bunch at my event and I don't ever want to look at half of them again, I look so terrible. You look great in the ones you posted!

    Thank you

I am learning what I did wrong in the swim. My quads were burning after and that's a huge sign that I am kicking wrong. I also mostly forgot to rotate.

The tri this sunday has only 1/4 mile swim. I guess I'm still trying to go easy on exercise with back-to-back tri's so I've been trying to swim and do some easy runs. Will take the bike out tomorrow for an easy 25 mile ride. I think I'll go up to the pool though and work on swimming again. As long as I don't fatigue myself, working on form can only help for sunday.

Just have to get that "kick from the hips" thing down without locking up my legs. Easier said than done!

And yeah, I think I'm addicted. Am already thinking if I join USAT how much I can save by not getting day licenses.
